Hidden in Plain Sight Competition – Terms & Conditions
- Promoter
The promoter is Confident Games Ltd (“Confident Games”, “we”, “us”).
- Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and Australia aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Confident Games Ltd, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
Entrants must meet the eligibility requirements both when their entry is submitted and when the prize is awarded.
- Competition period
The competition is open from 1 September 2026.
The competition will close as soon as the first valid correct entry is received, or at 23:59 UK time on 31 January 2027, whichever happens first.
Once a winning entry has been received, no further entries will be eligible to win, even if the competition entry page has not yet been updated to show that the competition has closed.
If no valid correct entry has been received by 23:59 UK time on 31 January 2027, the competition will close without a winner and the prize will not be awarded. We will be giving clues on Confident Games social media pages.
- How to enter
The clues needed to solve the competition are hidden within the Hidden in Plain Sight game. Entrants will need access to a legitimate copy of the game in order to find the hidden items and solve the puzzle.
Use the hidden items in the game to solve the riddle and, once you think you have solved it, submit your one-word answer through the competition entry page together with a valid email address.
There is one predetermined correct answer.
There is no separate charge to submit an entry.
Entrants may also provide their reasoning for their answer. Providing reasoning is optional and does not affect whether an entry is eligible to win the main prize.
Additional clues will be released through Confident Games’ social media accounts during the competition to help entrants find the correct answer. Following Confident Games on social media is encouraged so entrants can see these clues, but following a social media account is not a condition of entry.
- Entry limits
Maximum one entry per calendar day per person. If multiple entries are submitted only the first entry for that day will be considered.
For the purposes of this competition, a calendar day runs from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time (GMT or BST, as applicable).
Automated, bulk, fraudulent or otherwise manipulated entries will not be accepted.
Attempts to circumvent the one-entry-per-day limit by using multiple email addresses, accounts or identities may result in disqualification.
- The prize
There will be one winner.
The winner will receive one pair of Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer (Gen 2) AI glasses, with an estimated retail value of £379.
The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless otherwise stated.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control make it necessary, Confident Games may substitute the prize with a reasonable alternative of equal or greater value.
Confident Games will cover the normal cost of delivering the prize to an eligible address in Great Britain or Australia.
The winner will not be required to make any payment to Confident Games in order to receive the prize. Any personal tax liability arising from receipt of the prize is the responsibility of the winner, except where Confident Games is legally required to pay or account for such tax.
Ray-Ban and Meta do not sponsor, endorse, administer or have any association with this competition. Ray-Ban, Meta and their respective trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
- How the winner is determined
The winner will be the first eligible entrant to submit the correct answer through the official competition entry page.
There is one predetermined correct one-word answer to the competition.
Entries will be ordered according to the date and time they are received by Confident Games' competition entry system. The timestamp recorded by our system will be used to determine which valid correct entry was received first.
An entry must contain the correct answer and comply with these Terms & Conditions to qualify as a winning entry.
Any reasoning submitted alongside an answer will not affect the determination of the main prize winner.
- If no correct entry is received
If no valid correct entry is received we will release additional clues via Confident Games social media channels in order to find a winner.
- Contacting the winner
We will contact the winner using the email address supplied with their entry.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. The winner must respond within 14 days of our first notification.
If the winner does not respond within that period, is found to be ineligible, or their entry does not comply with these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to award the prize to the next eligible correct entry received.
- Verification
Confident Games reserves the right to request reasonable information necessary to verify the winner's identity and eligibility, including their age and country of residence.
Where there is any dispute about the timing of entries, the records of Confident Games' competition entry system will determine the order in which entries were received.
- Delivery of the prize
We may request information from the winner that is reasonably necessary to arrange delivery of the prize.
Unless otherwise stated, we will aim to provide or dispatch the prize within 30 days of confirming the winner.
Delivery of the prize is available only to an eligible address in Great Britain or Australia.
- Winner information
Confident Games may make available information sufficient to demonstrate that a valid award took place, which may include the surname and county, state or territory of the winner.
The winner may object to or request a reduction in the amount of information made available by contacting us.
Where required by applicable law or a competent regulator, Confident Games may nevertheless be required to provide winner information to that regulator.
- Personal information
Personal information supplied when entering will be used to administer the competition, identify and contact the winner and fulfil the prize in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Entering the competition requires entrants to consent to receiving marketing emails.
Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Withdrawing marketing consent after a valid competition entry has been submitted will not invalidate that entry or affect the entrant's eligibility to win.
Marketing emails will include a method of unsubscribing from future marketing communications.
- Fair play
Confident Games reserves the right to reject an entry or withhold a prize where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been fraud, cheating, manipulation, a breach of these Terms & Conditions or an attempt to interfere with the proper operation of the competition.
This includes attempts to circumvent the one-entry-per-day restriction through multiple email addresses, identities, accounts, automated methods or other means.
- Technical issues
Confident Games is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not successfully received because of a technical failure outside our reasonable control.
An entry is considered received only when it has been successfully recorded by our competition entry system.
- Changes or cancellation
If circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control make it necessary to amend, suspend or cancel the competition, Confident Games may do so while taking reasonable steps to minimise any disadvantage to entrants.
- Social media
Where the competition is promoted through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or another social media platform, it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform.
Following, liking or otherwise interacting with Confident Games on any social media platform is not required to enter or win, although Confident Games may use its social media accounts to release competition clues.
- Acceptance of these Terms
By entering the competition, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- General
Confident Games' decision regarding the administration of the competition is final, subject to applicable law.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law, including any mandatory rights available to entrants resident in Australia.
